Poetry

Very little grows on jagged rock.

Be grounded. Be crumbled.

So wild flowers will come up

Where you are.

You have been stony for too many years.

Try something different. Surrender.

Rumi

You need not do anything, remain sitting at your table and listen.

You need not even listen just wait.

And you need not even wait, just become quiet and still and solitary

And the world will offer itself to you, to be unmasked

It has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet

Franz Kafka

What is there, after all,

besides memories and dreams

and the way they mix

with land and air and water

to make us whole?
